Angkor Palace Resort & Spa shares the long-term goals with the partner organisations - to seek conservation of upgrading the sustainable development of human communities. We support the local humanitarian organizations to improve environmental management and the long-term health such as:
1. Angkor Hospital for Children - www.angkorhospital.org, Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) is not only serves as the pediatric department for Siem Reap’s Provincial Hospital but also treats children from neighboring provinces. Providing outpatient, inpatient, acute, emergency, surgical, low-acuity, dental and ophthalmologic care, AHC has treated over 400,000 children since 1999. Currently the outpatient department sees 300-400 children each day and maintains 50 inpatient beds. Patients are asked to pay a nominal fixed fee per visit if they can afford to do so – all treatment and inpatient care is free of charge.
2. MEDICORPS/CAMBODIA - www.medicorps.org Medicorps is an international volunteer organization aiming to improve healthcare in disadvantaged countries and reduce poverty - regardless of political, racial or religious circumstances.
3. Cambodian Red Cross - www.redcross.org.kh The Cambodian Red Cross (CRC) is the largest humanitarian organization in Cambodia. Established in 18 February 1955, it is officially recognized by the Royal Government as an auxiliary to the public authorities in humanitarian services to relieve the sufferings of the most vulnerable.
