Angkor Palace Resort & Spa is pleased to welcome Prof. David Jonathan Gross, a 2004 Nobel Laureate for Physics and his wife Mrs. Jacqueline Savani to our 'Palace' during his trip to South East Asia to address the “BRIDGES” – Dialogues Towards a Culture of Peace facilitated by The International Peace Foundation (05-15 January 2010).
Prof. David Jonathan Gross is a 2004 Nobel Laureate for Physics, the director and holder of the Frederick W. Gluck Chair in Theoretical Physics at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics of the University of California in Santa Barbara and a Member of the Advisory Board of the International Peace Foundation.

Foreign Affairs Ministers and delegates from Cambodia, Japan, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar came together for the Mekong-Japan Foreign Ministers’ Meeting held at Angkor Palace Resort & Spa from 2-3 October 2009. Chaired by H.E. Mr. HOR Namhong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the meeting covered the development plans of the Mekong region and a range of issues such as global warming, North Korea nuclear weapon and A (H1N1).
The session was opened by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Angkor Palace Resort & Spa is pleased to welcome H.E. Mr. Nguon Nhal, 1st Vice President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia during his visit to Siem Reap for APA Sub-Committee Meeting on Alleviating Poverty in Asia.
The resort is honoured to be selected as a venue for The Welcome Dinner Reception which attracted about 200 delegates across Asian counties on 26 July 2009.

On 16 February 2009, business leaders from within Cambodia and abroad met with top Cambodian government officials at the Economist Conferences’ Business Round Table with the Government of Cambodia in Siem Reap. Angkor Palace Resort & Spa is honoured to be chosen as a venue by Economist Intelligence Unit for this important “Economist Conference – One the Verge of Breakthrough”. Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia delivered the keynote address and led key ministers at the Roundtable.

H.E. President Nguyen was here at The' Palace' on 01st March 2007 to visit the Angkor Wat temple, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
