According to our research; many poor families live far away from schools which forces lots of young students (especially girls) to give up their studies.

In order to encourage them to return to school, we found that a bicycle donation would be useful to local families.

To help complete a house belonging to a very poor old grandmother

Currently, Angkor Palace Resort & Spa is helping one of the poorest families (a  68-year old grandmother Ms. Vang living with two granddaughters, aged 6 and 9 years old in Phouk District about 15km away) to build a new home.

The project is still underway after their previous home was destroyed by fire about two years ago. Everyday, the grandmother goes to the pagoda to help the monk in order to earn money to support her two girls and fund the completion of her home.

Please help Ms Vang to see to the construction of her new home which is now taking close to three years.

Send Students for Extra Class

In the rural areas of Cambodia, particularly Siem Reap province; school teachers are lowly paid. In order for these teachers to survive, they need to teach extra classes to earn more money.

With many families living in poverty, funds are insufficient for them to send their children for extra classes.

We encourage you to help both school teachers and children to enjoy a better standard of living and quality of  education.

USD 15.00 per student

(for three months only)

Hygiene  & Grooming

Sam Arng Kar, is a course that covers wedding preparations such as  make-up and tailoring of wedding attire.

In the countryside, Sam Arng Kar is popular with young girls aged 13 to 18 years old

In order to help these girls build a living, funds are needed to pay for these courses which take about eight months to one year.

USD 250.00

Water Wells with Hand Pumps

Access to water supply is a challenge in many rural areas

During the dry season (February to April), water supply is even more scarce and villagers source for water underground. They spend much time covering long distances to bring water home.

The building of one water well can sustain five families. The project promotes sustainable tourism by helping the local village communities achieve a better life.

USD 160.00
per water well

Build a Toilet

Most villagers live without proper sanitation in their homes. To relieve themselves, they use the open forest.

For females and young children, this can be awkward and unsafe especially at night. Funds are needed to help these families attain a better standard of living and sanitation, as well as to sustain a green environment.

USD 150.00
per toilet
